In the spirit of this year's Olympics 'Kisses from Kestrel' will be supporting Charity through Sporting Activities in 2012
The first recipient is Izo Shalhav from Iscont Lines Haifa office. Izo has for some time has supported charity work through his cycling in Israel and in March will be undertaking a 4 day 400 kms bike ride “Good Wheel 2012”.
“This unique bike ride will raise money to benefit over 2000 disabled children who train at the Israel Sport Center for Disabled Children.
Activities in more than 15 different fields of sport are used at this incredible centre to rehabilitate the bodies of the disabled, to strengthen their spirits and to integrate them into Israeli society.
You all know my passion for sports and love of children and Israel. This ride gives me the opportunity to combine them all, to do a good deed for such an important cause while exploring the beautiful landscape of Israel. I will face an exciting physical challenge in a ride that contributes to the well being and to the morale of the disabled children.”
Good Luck Izo, and we look forward to posting photos of the ride itself.
